Detalles de High-Strength sanitary bag for 220L Drums

Every beekeeper has seen it at some point: you open a metal drum in the warehouse, ready for the harvest or to mix syrup, and there it is — that layer of rust at the bottom. With winter humidity, wax stuck in the seams and propolis packed into every corner, keeping metal drums clean year after year is almost impossible.

This heavy-duty food-grade galga 300 liner is made for exactly that. It extends the life of your drums and, above all, guarantees the absolute purity of your honey, syrup or pollen. Insert it like an inner skin and your standard steel drum becomes a safe, hygienic container.

Your barrier against rust and contamination

Honey should never come into contact with oxidised metal. It affects flavour, colour and food safety. With this liner:

• The contents never touch metal, even in old worn-out drums.
• No wax or propolis buildup in the joints.
• You can keep using old drums that look tired on the outside but are structurally sound.

Real-world uses in the apiary

Honey settling and storage: perfect when your stainless-steel settling tanks are full. Even dark honeys like forest or chestnut, which leave more residue, settle cleanly and safely inside the liner.
Syrup preparation: ideal for mixing stimulation or winter feed syrups with zero risk of metallic migration into the food.
Large-capacity waterer: place the bag inside an open drum and use it as a water source in hot summers. The water stays clean longer because it never touches the metal. Tip: add pieces of natural cork as floating landing pads to avoid bee drownings.
Pollen fermentation and protein silage: the liner prevents acidic reactions with the drum walls.

Why it’s so practical

Industrial-grade strength: galga 300 virgin polyethylene, tough enough to handle around 300 kg of weight and stirring movement.
No cleaning required: when you’re done, remove the liner and the drum is basically spotless.
Universal size: 980 × 1700 mm, with enough slack to fold over and tie securely on standard 200–220 L drums.

Technical specifications

Made of high-resistance food-grade polyethylene, galga 300, transparent colour to easily see the fill level. Compatible with standard 200–220 L honey drums (approx. 300 kg of honey). Supplied individually. Metal drum not included.
