Net weight is checked on a scale, not by eye

The density of honey shifts with moisture and temperature, and you also need headroom to close it without overflowing. So set the dose with a tared scale and declare the real net weight of each batch. Filling to a visual mark and hoping every lot weighs the same is how the gap opens between what the label says and what is inside.

03 · BEFORE YOU BUY

Before filling, check that container and lid are clean, dry and undeformed; fill with honey fluid enough to dose without overheating it, wipe the thread and check the seal. The maker’s sheet documents neither dishwasher nor hot filling, so do not put the plastic through temperatures nobody has verified.
