1 kg PET jar with embossed honeycomb cells, for jarring and shipping without breakages.
The alternative to glass when the honey travels: it weighs 45 g empty and does not break in the parcel. Two things before you order — the TO66 lid is sold separately and PET does not take hot honey.
01 · LID AND FILLING
The mouth is TO66 and lids are not included: they are ordered separately, and it has to be that size and no other. The temperature limit is real too: above 60 °C PET deforms, so if you have just liquefied or filtered warm, let the honey come down before you fill. An overheated jar bulges and stops sealing properly.
02 · LABEL
The jar is 90 mm across and 144 mm tall with the lid on, but the smooth band where the label goes is 72 mm high: above that the honeycomb relief starts and the label bubbles. That is the figure to give the printer, and the one that saves the most grief on a print run.
