TRANSPARENT: THE COLOUR SHOWS

NICOT

MADE IN FRANCE

Per unit

SOLD SINGLY

Disposable spoon for letting people taste your honey at a fair, a market or an open day. Clear transparent plastic, coffee-spoon size and a price that lets you hand them out without counting: one per visitor, then the bin.

At a public tasting the spoon is not a service detail: it is the hygiene barrier between an open jar and a hundred strangers.

01 · WHAT IT IS FOR

One per person, and none goes back in the jar

The rule of a tasting is simple: one spoon per visitor and no utensil goes back into the jar. With disposable spoons that takes care of itself, with nothing to wash between customers and no need to trust that nobody double-dips. It works as well on the market table, at tastings with pastry chefs and hospitality buyers, and at honey competitions, where the jury tastes other people’s samples without contaminating their own.

02 · THE COLOUR SHOWS

Clear transparent, not opaque white

It is clear transparent plastic, not white: the honey is seen as it is on the spoon, in its real colour. Colour is the first thing that identifies a honey, and half the sale is played there — the dark amber of heather, the almost colourless acacia, the gold of rosemary — and an opaque white spoon loses that difference at the very moment the customer decides. The maker, NICOT, declares it suitable for food contact and produces it in France.

03 · HOW MANY TO ORDER

Light, stackable and counted by visitors

They weigh almost nothing and they stack: a whole bag fits in a small box and travels without taking room in the market van. Count by expected visitors, not by honeys: anyone tasting two varieties uses two spoons. And there is a use that pays off away from the fair: putting two or three into each online order, so the customer can taste the new honey before opening the big jar.

04 · BEFORE YOU BUY

Sold by the unit: the quantity you order is the number of spoons that arrive.

✓ FITSTastings at fairs, markets, open days and honey competitions.
✕ DOESN’T FITHome or table use: the wooden spoons are for that.
⚠ NOT INCLUDEDThe honey, the tasting cups and the display stand.
