The steam wax melter is completely made of stainless steel. The steam is not generated in the melting tank but in the water tank beneath.
One melting cycle (without heating uptime) lasts about 40 minutes, depending on the age of the honey combs.
• Water volume in the water tank 19 liters
• Capacity approx. 30 Langstroth frames, 16 frames Dadant or 35 supers frames.
• Inner tank Ø 63 cm, welded bottom without gap
• Rigid handles
• Lid with silicon gasket and locking ring, seals the tank completely tight
• Immersion pipe heating element adjustable via thermostat from 30 to 110 °C (3000 W / 230 V)
