And how far it goes

The dose is 20-30 ml per 10 litres of water, a dilution of two or three tenths of a percent. It is not a product to pour by eye: overdosing does not improve release and leaves residue.

At 25 ml, the 5 litres in the can cover around two hundred ten-litre fills. That is why you buy it once and forget about it.

02 · WHAT THE FILM DOES

The problem it solves

Milling without release agent is the classic frustration: the wax sticks to the roller, the sheet comes out uneven or tears, and you end up scraping residue off with a spatula.

The concentrate forms a microscopic film between the wax and the roller surface. The sheet releases cleanly and consistently, with the cell pattern well defined and no drag marks.

03 · WHICH MILLS NEED IT

Check before ordering

It is the official formula for RIETSCHE mills, and it works just as well on any other water-cooled roller machine — Lyson, Logar or home-built.

What does not need a release agent is a silicone matrix mill, like the Puff Graz we also stock: there the wax is poured straight onto the matrix and adding product achieves nothing. Check which type yours is before buying.

04 · THE COMPOSITION

What we can tell you

We have been asked in English and in German, so we will say it plainly: the detailed composition is not in the manufacturer information we hold, beyond the fact that it is the official RIETSCHE concentrate.

If you need the safety data sheet before buying — and for a product diluted into the water of a wax mill that is a reasonable thing to ask — write to us and we will request it.
