Stainless steel mixing head that clamps onto your own bucket and turns slowly (~33 rpm) to blend batches or make creamed honey without folding in air. 250 W motor with timer and a crossbar with adjustable clamps: fits buckets and pails Ø 30.5-39 cm (up to 35-40 kg). Container not included.
Blending a batch or making creamed honey doesn't call for a tank with a stirrer: this head clamps onto your own bucket and mixes the honey right where you keep it. Its whole design is built around one idea —move the honey slowly— because proper blending isn't about beating hard, it's about spreading the mix evenly without folding in air.
The 250 W geared motor turns the paddles at about 33 rpm (an i = 40 reduction on a 1370 rpm motor). That slow speed creates an enveloping flow that spreads the mix through the whole bucket without forming foam or that white layer of bubbles you get when honey is beaten too fast with a drill mixer. The built-in timer lets you set the running time so you needn't watch the clock, and the mushroom-head button stops the unit instantly.
The grid paddles drag the honey even when the bucket is half full, so they work just as well with the last few kilos as with a full container. Use it to blend several batches into a consistent profile —the one your customers recognise season after season— or to make creamed honey by the seeding method: stir in 5-10 % of finely crystallised honey, blend gently for around 20 minutes and let it mature cold, around 14 °C. The final texture depends on each honey and its glucose/fructose ratio, so it's worth fine-tuning per batch.
The stainless steel crossbar rests on the rim of the bucket and is secured with two adjustable clamp arms —the black knobs— so it grips firmly without drilling anything and adjusts to different diameters. It fits buckets and pails from 30.5 to 39 cm in diameter and at least 34 cm tall, up to the 35-40 kg format. The container is not included: what you buy is the mixing head that you mount on your own bucket.
Over the years, plastic buckets lose their rigidity and a worn one can give way under the weight of the head and the honey. To work safely, mount the unit on stainless steel containers or buckets in good condition, and don't leave it running unattended while the motor is working.
