37 cm rounded honey spade with a stainless-steel blade and wooden handle for dense or crystallised honey in deep containers.
The working blade is approximately 15 × 8.5 cm, giving enough area to cut, lift and portion product without using a household spoon as a lever.
01 · USE
For crystallised honey, cappings and soft wax
The long shape reaches into pails and drums, allowing portions of compact honey to be separated for transfer or controlled liquefaction. It is also useful for cappings and manageable wax. It is not a mechanical mixer and should not be levered against hard blocks or the container wall.
02 · SHAPE AND CONTROL
Rounded blade approximately 15 × 8.5 cm
The rounded edge slides under the mass without sharp corners, while the broad blade supports a stable portion. The wooden handle adds reach and grip; keep the vessel steady and avoid sudden force that could bend the blade or damage the container.
03 · CLEANING
Wash the blade and dry the handle as well
Remove honey and wax before they harden. Hand-wash with warm water and a detergent compatible with the process, rinse and dry immediately, especially around the metal-to-wood joint. Do not leave the tool soaking or store it with a damp handle.
04 · BEFORE YOU BUY
Check that 37 cm reaches the bottom of your vessel
Tool length and container depth should allow work without putting a hand into the product. A very tall vessel or fully hardened honey may require a longer tool or controlled warming first. One honey spade supplied.
