Details of Royal Jelly Powder BIO 1kg

The difference from fresh is not quality: it is water. Take the water out and royal jelly stops needing a fridge.

Freeze-dried royal jelly powder, with organic certification, in a 1 kg bag. White in colour, sour and bitter in taste, soluble in water, milk or other liquids.

01 · FREEZE-DRIED OR FRESH

The question we get most

Fresh royal jelly is mostly water. Freeze-drying means freezing it and removing that water by sublimation, without heat: what remains is a white powder concentrating the dry matter. That is why, by weight, a kilo of powder corresponds to roughly three times as much fresh jelly, depending on the batch.

And from that comes the practical advantage: fresh jelly demands an unbroken cold chain, while this travels and is kept at room temperature. If fresh is what you want, we sell it separately; this is the shelf-stable version.

02 · HOW TO KEEP IT

Stable does not mean indestructible

It keeps stable at room temperature for years, and that is the whole point of the format. Even so, what degrades it is the same as with fresh: light, oxygen, moisture and heat.

So: opaque container, tightly closed. Below 5 °C it keeps better, and at −20 °C is where it lasts best if it will be open for a long time.

03 · WHAT IT IS USED FOR

A workshop format

A kilo of powder is a professional format: it is used to make honey with royal jelly, blends and preparations, and for repacking. Being a powder it is dosed and dissolved without thawing anything, which is what makes it convenient against fresh on a production line.

We do not give intake guidance: dosage of a product intended for food use is a matter for the packer's label and, where relevant, a health professional.

04 · ORIGIN AND CERTIFICATE

Where it comes from and who controls it

The product is of Chinese origin and is certified organic under control authority code ES-ECO-020-CV. Coming from outside the European Union, its organic labelling falls under Regulation (EU) 2018/848 and the origin must be declared as non-EU agriculture.

We say it here and not in small print because it is the second most frequent question we get about this reference.

05 · BEFORE YOU BUY

It is powdered jelly, in a one-kilo format:
