01 · WHICH SMOKER IT FITS

Plastic-bellows ones; European wooden ones take another

It is the mailbox question, twice: does it fit them all? No. This bellows replaces the one on smokers that already came with a plastic bellows of the same height, width, hole spacing, screws and air-outlet position: measure the original. European-format smokers with wood-and-leather bellows, like our stainless with guard, the spark-arrester or the XXL, take the 19 × 12 cm bellows with four mounts: for those, the spare is the wooden bellows 325 or the premium 3262, not this one.

02 · HOW TO FIT IT

Cold smoker, outlet aligned and screws alternated

With the smoker off and cold, unscrew the worn one, offer up the new one with the air hole against the body’s inlet and screw it on alternately with the old screws, without compressing it. Then work it empty: it must open and close without rubbing and blow hard through the nozzle.

03 · HOW LONG IT LASTS

Plastic: away from the hot body

Plastic does not take contact with a body above 200 °C: keep it clear and replace it when it deforms, cracks or loses its return. The Italian review sums it up: it does its job, even in plastic.
