The link between chemical filters and particle pre-filters

The X501 connector is the intermediate piece that allows you to attach particle pre-filters (X7N11 P2 or X7N13 P3) onto Oxyline chemical filters (X701 A1, X702 A1E1 or X703 ABEK1). Without it, the pre-filters cannot be secured to the filtration system. Sold in pairs of 2 units (one connector per side), since each mask uses two side-mounted filters. Compatible with the X6 and X7 series half-masks and the X8 full-face mask.

🔧 Quick 3-piece assembly

The complete filtration system is assembled without tools in under a minute: chemical filter (attaches to the mask via bayonet) ← X501 connector (clips onto the filter) ← particle pre-filter (locks into the connector). The sequence is always the same regardless of which filter or pre-filter model you use. The connector is reusable: when you replace worn pre-filters, the connector stays in place.

💡 When do you need the connector?

If you only plan to use chemical filters (e.g. X703 ABEK1 for oxalic acid sublimation), you do not need the connector: the filter attaches directly to the mask via bayonet. The connector is only necessary when you want to add a particle pre-filter on top of the chemical filter, which is recommended when handling oxalic acid crystals (they generate dust) or when working in environments with airborne particles.
