Fine particle filtration to complement the protection of chemical filters
The X7N13 P3 D pre-filters add an extra layer of protection against fine particles (dust, smoke, mist) when combined with Oxyline chemical filters. In beekeeping, they are especially useful when handling oxalic acid crystals before sublimation and for trapping airborne microparticles generated during treatment. They attach to the chemical filter via the X501 connector (sold separately).
🔧 Reusable but subject to frequent wear
Each pre-filter can be used over several working days, although the manufacturer recommends no more than 3 working days per unit. That is why the pack includes 4 units: so you have replacements on hand without having to stop your treatment campaign. They are the most frequently replaced component in the filtration system, so it is wise to always keep stock.
📐 Assembly with the X501 connector
The X7N13 pre-filters do not have their own bayonet fitting and cannot attach directly to the mask. They require the X501 connector to clip onto the X701, X702 or X703 chemical filters. Assembly is straightforward: chemical filter (bayonet to mask) ← X501 connector ← X7N13 pre-filter. The complete system is assembled in under a minute.
