Details of P3 D Particle Pre-filter X7N13 Oxyline (Pack of 4)
Pack of four P3 particle pre-filters X7N13 by Oxyline, the layer that sits in front of the gas filter to stop oxalic dust when loading the sublimator and the microparticles of the treatment. They do not clip to the mask: they are held over the ABEK1 X703 with the X501 connector (3178), on the X6/X7 half masks and the X8 full-face mask.
The gas filter for the vapour; the pre-filter for the dust, and it also extends the life of the carbon, which is the costly part.
01 · WHAT IT STOPS
Fine particles, class P3
It retains fine particles, dust, smoke and mist to class P3 efficiency (EN 143): the dust of oxalic crystals when filling the sublimator and the microparticles suspended during and after sublimation. It does not retain acid vapour: that is done by the ABEK1 X703 (3177) underneath. Without a pre-filter that dust clogs the gas filter early.
02 · HOW IT MOUNTS
Over the gas filter, with the X501 connector
It has no bayonet of its own. The order is: gas filter to the mask by bayonet, pre-filter on top with the printed side inwards, and the X501 connector (3178) that clips over it. It fits over the X701 A1, X702 A1E1 and X703 ABEK1, and therefore on the X6 and X7 half masks and the X8 full-face mask (3175). One pair of connectors serves many pre-filters.
03 · WHEN TO CHANGE IT
When breathing gets harder; about three days
It is the consumable that wears out first: change it when breathing resistance rises, it looks dirty or gets wet, and as house guidance, no more than about three working days per unit. That is why four come: so the campaign does not stop. Store them in their packaging, dry, and off the mask between campaigns.

Four pre-filters are supplied; the X501 connector (3178) and the X703 gas filter (3177) come separately, and the set 3173 already includes its own.
