Details of Beeswax Pouring pot

Fixing the foundation to the frame, filling a candle mould or coating plastic frames all share one thing: you need to pour molten wax precisely, without leaving a trail. This brass pot with a pouring spout is made for exactly that, dosing and pouring melted wax under control, in a thin stream when you need it.

🫗 Clean, directed pouring

The pouring spout channels the wax in a controlled stream: you lay the bead right along the top bar of the frame or the edge of the foundation sheet, fill the candle mould without it running down the sides, and keep your bench clear of splashes. It is the detail you appreciate most when working with hot wax.

🔧 Brass spreads the heat, the handle stays cool

The brass body conducts heat well, so the wax stays fluid while you pour and will not set on you halfway through. The wooden handle stays cool to the touch: you hold it firmly next to the heat source with no glove or cloth needed.

🔄 Several wax-room jobs with one tool

Fix wax foundation to the frames, fill candle moulds, make your own sheets with a press or matrix, and coat plastic frames with wax. It is hand-sized, ideal for end-of-season wax work without setting up a whole line.

💡 Beekeeper's tip: melt the bulk of the wax in a bain-marie and keep the pot for dosing and pouring. You protect a thin-walled tool and avoid overheating the wax, which starts to lose quality above about 85 °C.

Do you have any questions about Beeswax Pouring pot?

Can this wax melting pot be used on an induction hob?

Not directly. It is made of brass and does not have a ferromagnetic base, so an induction hob will not detect it. Use a conventional ceramic hob or an electric hotplate, keeping the temperature controlled and never leaving melting wax unattended.
