These 50 μl capillary tubes are designed for semen storage and transfer during instrumental insemination of queen bees. Made of glass and fire-polished at both ends, they ensure safe handling without sharp edges or structural weaknesses.

They are fully compatible with the HARBO syringe, where they are inserted to aspirate or dispense semen under controlled conditions. The 50 microliter capacity suits standard doses and allows clear visibility of the contents.

Although glass is reusable in theory, these capillaries are treated as single-use disposables in professional beekeeping, as internal cleaning without contamination risk is impractical. Supplied in packs of 5 to support hygienic daily operations.

Do not confuse with insemination tips (ref. 5.00), which serve a different role: these capillaries are for semen storage and transfer — not for direct deposition into the queen.
