Detalles de Honey Settling Tank with Vertical Filters 50 kg

After a long day in the honey room extracting frames, with the air filled with the scent of warm wax and ripe nectar, you know the next step is critical: cleaning the honey without compromising its quality. That’s where this stainless steel settling tank becomes your best ally.

Designed by ApiNord, this 50 kg round tank is more than just a bucket. It features a three-stage filtration system using two vertical stainless steel filters: a coarse one to trap wax chunks and a fine one to catch lighter particles. The honey flows down by gravity—first through the coarse filter, then the fine one, and finally to the clean bottom chamber. The system naturally creates three compartments inside the tank, separating impurities without manual intervention.

How to empty it? Simple: use the upper valve to drain the top layer with foam and floating wax, and the lower valve to get pure, clean honey ready for bottling. You can also use it as a ripener before jarring, saving space and time in your operation.

Made entirely of food-grade stainless steel, it includes an airtight lid, sturdy handles, and butterfly valves for safe and drip-free handling. Its vertical, compact design is ideal for small to medium-sized honey rooms.

Technical specs: capacity up to 50 kg, double vertical filter (coarse + fine), stainless steel body and valve, tight lid, dual outlet, German ApiNord design.

Veteran tip: let the honey sit for at least 24 h after filtering before opening the bottom valve—you’ll get an even cleaner decanting without repeating the process.
