Vertical auger honey pump

When working with barrels or tanks that have no drain outlet, extracting honey becomes a real challenge. Tilting or manually scooping from heavy containers is not only inconvenient, it can also compromise hygiene and increase the risk of injury. This vertical auger pump is designed specifically for that purpose: to extract honey directly from the bottom of tanks or drums without the need for tipping or draining.

Its vertical design allows the unit to descend into the container and pump the honey gently and efficiently, without foaming or damaging the structure of the product—even when it is partially crystallized or highly viscous. The pump is made of stainless steel and food-grade plastic components, ensuring both durability and hygiene.

With a powerful 2.2 kW motor operating on 400 V three-phase current, this pump offers a variable output of 1500 to 3000 liters per hour, depending on the viscosity and temperature of the honey.

The internal auger rotates at 2800 rpm, and it is compatible with a 1" 1/4 (Ø 40 mm) hose connection, allowing direct transfer to filters, settling tanks, or filling systems.

Why is it useful? Because it solves a key bottleneck in honey processing: transferring product from large, non-draining containers without lifting or manual labor. It's particularly effective for dense honeys like heather or oak honey, which require more power to move efficiently.
