Fine 300-micron conical nylon honey filter with metal rim, for simple filtering after extraction or before settling in a honey tank. It is meant to retain visible process particles such as wax and cappings, not to purify or correct faulty honey.
The 300-micron mesh helps retain wax fragments, cappings and small particles from extraction. It is a fine mesh for a cleaner finish without turning the process into aggressive filtration.
The cone helps honey run towards the centre, while the metal rim supports the filter over compatible buckets or vessels. The PS record gives an approximate diameter of 33 cm.
The colder or more crystallised the honey is, the harder it will pass through a fine mesh. Filter fluid honey, avoid overloading the cone and clean the mesh before wax dries on it.
