Raw material in beige powder for making your own protein patties: it is mixed with syrup and dextrose. A complementary feed from Dadelos Apícola, with non-GMO raw materials and additives.
It is not a finished feed, it is the protein ingredient of the recipe. People buy it because they would rather make the patty to their own taste than buy it ready-made.

It is registered as a complementary feed under Regulation (EC) 767/2009 and complies with Spanish Royal Decree 465/2003 on undesirable substances in animal feed. The maker itself notes that the values are on total matter and given as indicative. And one note on taste that matters more than it looks: the powder is not bitter, which is half the battle in getting bees to take it.
02 · THE RECIPE
A quarter powder, half syrup, a quarter dextrose
The proportion we recommend as a starting point, by weight:

In packs: one 25 kg sack of Apinúcleo Plus, four 12 kg jerrycans of Fructobee 79 and one 25 kg sack of dextrose. And the question that comes up most: the texture is corrected with the powder, adding it little by little until the dough stops sticking to your hands. Taking syrup out to thicken it also changes the sugar contribution, so it is better to move one side of the scales only.
03 · WHY NO OIL IS NEEDED
The fat is already in there
Plenty of home protein-patty recipes call for a splash of oil: it helps the dough bind and keeps it from drying out on the frame. Here it is not needed, because the powder carries 7.72 % crude fat from the factory. That is the practical difference against a bare protein flour, and it shows in how evenly the mix comes together and in the patty lasting more days without cracking on top of the top bars.
04 · BEFORE YOU BUY
A 25 kg sack — the working size, for mixing patties in batches all season — and also a 5 kg sack if you keep few hives. Keep it closed, away from dust and moisture; the maker gives a best-before of 18 months from manufacture.
