Ø 100 cm STAINLESS STEEL TABLE | 1-12 rpm ADJUSTABLE ROTATION |
Ø 115 mm WIDEST JAR | 190 mm TALLEST JAR |
Automatic Ø 100 cm turntable with a console for mounting the DANA 2000+ you already own: it is the table from the DANA 2000+ filling station, without the filling machine.
It is meant for beekeepers who already fill with a DANA api MATIC 2000+ and want to turn it into a filling station without buying another machine. If you do not have a filling machine yet, look first at the DANA 2000+ filling station with Ø100 turntable: it is this same table with the filling machine already fitted, and it costs less than buying the two pieces separately.
01 · FROM FILLER TO STATION
With the filling machine on its own, someone places each jar, waits for it to fill and takes it away. With the turntable, empty jars go into the feeding zone and the rotation carries them one by one to the filling point: the detector registers the jar, the table stops, the DANA doses and, when it has finished, the table turns again until the next jar arrives. Full jars gather in the centre, ready for lidding. The table holds 48 jars at a time, according to Swienty.
02 · THE CONSOLE
This is what sets it apart from the Ø 100 turntable without a console. The DANA 2000+ is fixed on the console, which adjusts horizontally and vertically: the horizontal setting centres the nozzle over the jar track, and the vertical one leaves a couple of centimetres between nozzle and jar. Filling machine and table become a single unit on the table's wheels and move together. With the turntable without a console, the 2000+ sits on a separate floor stand next to it, and lining it up is down to you. And the console is not sold separately: a turntable without one cannot be converted into this one later.
03 · DETECTION AND JAR SIZES
It comes with both detectors, and you fit whichever suits your jar best. The wire switch works by contact: the wire touches the jar and the table stops. The photo sensor detects it without touching, from 1 to 30 mm away. Either way, you move the detector until the centre of the jar stops right under the nozzle, and repeat this when you change jar format.
It takes jars of Ø 30 to 115 mm and 30 to 190 mm tall, and the rail separating the feeding zone from the collection zone adjusts to each size. Rotation is adjustable from 1 to 12 rpm, and that speed, together with the jar size, sets the real pace of the line more than the pump's flow rate does. Before you order, measure the largest jar you plan to fill.
04 · BEFORE YOU BUY
Depending on what you already have in your honey house:
| With a DANA 2000+ | This turntable, if you want the filling machine fixed on the console, as in the station. If having it beside the table is enough, the Ø100 turntable without a console with an electric floor stand or an adjustable floor stand works out slightly cheaper. |
|---|---|
| With a DANA 3000 | The Ø100 turntable without a console: the 3000 has its own stand on wheels and sits next to the table. |
You receive the turntable with its console, the photo sensor and the wire switch. It runs on 230 V and draws 184 W. Allow room for the 1 m table with the filling machine fitted, and for the person loading and unloading jars.
