Honey Refractometer model MASTER-HONEY/BX made by the Japanese brand ATAGO. This hand-held refractometer has a double scale which measures both the water content and the honey Brix.
Details of Refractometer ATAGO Master-Honey/Bx
Measures a moisture range in Honey from 12.0 to 30.0%. Brix : 58.0 to 90.0%. The difference with the more economical models is that it has a thermometer that allows you to make an automatic temperature compensation, and therefore offer much more accurate results (Accuracy: Honey humidity: ±0. 1%; Brix: ±0. 1%). In addition, this model can be calibrated with a 60% solution of sucrose, which avoids the high cost of special calibration liquids.
