After a long day of extraction, when you see the pile of cappings building up, you know there’s still liquid gold trapped inside. In medium to large-scale honey houses, leaving those cappings untreated is like giving away part of your harvest. That’s where the LYSON screw-type cappings press comes in: a robust, efficient machine built for daily use.

What does it do? It separates honey from the cappings without using heat, preserving all its natural qualities. The process takes place inside a perforated cylinder where a rotating module presses the cappings gently but firmly. The honey flows through the micro-perforations and drains onto a sieve below. This honey hasn't been heated or emulsified – it's raw, aromatic and ready to settle or jar.

Meanwhile, the dry wax is pushed forward by the auger and discharged at the end, nearly ready for melting. The result: less loss, higher yield and clean wax ideal for making foundation or cosmetics.

We've tested it with thick rosemary honey and lighter floral types like lavender and eucalyptus. It always performs. Even with moist cappings or traces of brood, the low-speed rotation (5 rpm) ensures effective separation without oxidation or unwanted emulsification.
